Hilltop Cafe - Wilton, NH

Today my Mommy and I found the most amazing gem 2 miles through the country off the main road! It's the Hilltop Cafe in Wilton, NH. The cafe is in an old colonial home on a Farm, where they serve amazing breakfast and lunches made from local everything! It has been said that their homemade croissants are just as good as those you find in France, and I can believe it! My Mom and I shared a croissant with amazing homemade organic raspberry jam, and it was silky, flaky, and simply divine! The best croissant I've ever tasted. I also got the French toast, made from their croissants with whipped cream, berry sauce, and maple syrup. It was the best French toast I've ever tasted! And their hot chocolate was pretty much to die for, too. We ate by the windows while we watched the cows graze in their fields just across the street, reminding us just where our food comes from, and how good locally grown food is! It was a delicious lunch on a grey and rainy afternoon.
